Visa Information:
A U.S Passport valid for 6 months upon return to the U.S. is required of all tour participants. As passport processing times can vary we recommend applying early. It is each traveler´s responsibility to obtain their required visas. Visa requirements vary according to the nationality of the passport holder. For travelers who are not citizens of the United States, please consult a visa service or the embassy of your destination country for visa requirements. Visas for travel to Russia are necessary. For your convenience, we suggest using a Visa Service to obtain the required visas.
Visa Service: The Russian Federation Entry Visa is $197 per person, inclusive of all fees. An additional charge for FedEx 2-day delivery service will apply.
Please note that visa requirements and charges are subject to change, and should be confirmed at the time of booking. DV Journeys is not responsible for the refusal or delayed processing of visas and passports by Consular offices and normal cancelation charges will apply. Applications received less than 16 business days before departure may result in additional fees.
Rates & Airfares:
Prices on this website refer to land or cruise travel only and do not include international airfare. Special rates for international airfares are available for purchase subject to availability. Airfares quoted are based on round-trip purchase in designated classes of service from select gateway cities on select routings and include airline fuel surcharges and all government taxes and fees, including the September 11th Security Fee. Airfares quoted may require advanced purchase and may carry airline restrictions and penalties. Airline seats and flight schedules may be changed by the airline without notice. For the most current prices and availability, ask your travel agent or contact DV Journeys. Prior to deposit, all airfare prices are subject to change without notice.
Transfers: Airport transfers on the arrival and departure date are included when airfare is purchased through DV Journeys. Passenger pick-up and transfer may be arranged for an additional fee. To confirm this service, passengers must provide all relevant flight information to DV Journeys.
Deposits:
• M.S. Glushkov – $300 per person is due within seven days of booking in order to secure your reservation.
• M.S. Lenin – $300 per person is due within seven days of booking in order to secure your reservation.
• M.S. Volga Dream – $750 per person is due within seven days of booking in order to secure your reservation.
Final Payment: Full payment for all cruises and tours is due 120 days prior to your departure.
Change Fees: A minimum $30 change fee will be charged per transaction for any changes made to dates, hotels, or to ground or air transportation. When dates are changed on a package, the package is considered a cancelled trip and cancellation penalties will apply. Revisions to air tickets are subject to the rules and regulations of the fare type purchased. Prices may vary depending on the day of travel and airline class of service booked, which is determined by airline seat availability. Prior to deposit, all prices are subject to change without notice.
Cancellation Fees: Cancellations must be made in writing.

Up to 121 days prior to departure: $250 fee per person plus airline cancellation penalties.
120-91 days prior to departure: 50% of price plus airline cancellation penalties.
Within 90 days of departure: 100% of price plus airline cancellation penalties.
M.S. Volga Dream:
Up to 121 days prior to departure: $250 fee per person plus airline cancellation penalties.
120-91 prior to departure: 50% of price plus airline cancellation penalties.
Within in 90 days of departure: 100% of the price plus airline cancellation penalties
Changes in Itineraries: DV Journeys will make every effort to operate all cruises and tours as advertised on this web site. However, circumstances may arise which may require an adjustment to the tour. We will make every effort to avoid such changes, but we reserve the right to make such modifications when necessary. Because waterways can be affected by severe weather conditions including rain or drought, high or low levels of water, programs may require a change in embarkation and disembarkation points, sightseeing itineraries, modes of transportation and cruising schedules. Alternate programs may be arranged by the cruise companies without notice.
Refunds: All requests for refunds will be considered promptly. Requests must be in writing and received within 30 days of the return date of the tour.
Tour Documents & Tickets: All necessary documents will be mailed or e-mailed approximately 21 days prior to departure for all tours. For 2-day FEDEX Service, an additional fee will apply.
Hotels: All hotels offered in conjunction with our river cruises are Superior Tourist Class, First Class or Deluxe consistent with the classification established in Europe. We reserve the right to substitute hotels if absolutely necessary. Please note that under standard policy, hotel rooms are not available for check-in before 2pm. Hotel bookings cancelled after scheduled departure from the USA are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
Gratuities: All hotel gratuities are included in the advertised price. Gratuities for the tour manager, local guides, drivers, and cruise staff are not included and are at the discretion of the individual traveler.
Liability:
DV enterprises ("the Operator") packages and operates travel programs solely as an independent contractor. The tour services described on this web site, including without limitation all transportation, lodging, and sightseeing, are provided by carriers, hoteliers, and other suppliers as independent contractors and not agents, employees, partners or joint ventures of or with the Operator. The Operator issues tickets, vouchers, and other travel documents for such services merely on behalf of the companies that furnish such services. Such tickets, vouchers, and other travel documents are subject to all terms and conditions of their respective suppliers (some of which may limit or exclude the supplier´s liability). The Operator is not responsible for any loss of or damage to property or death or injury to persons, resulting from any act or omission of any supplier providing any tour service or any other person or entity or caused by strike, war, weather, quarantine, sickness, government restriction or regulation, or any other cause beyond its reasonable control, including a supplier´s decision to withdraw and/or cancel its contribution to a tour for any reason. The tour participant expressly waives all rights which he or she may have against the Operator in connection with the foregoing. Under no circumstances is the Operator to be construed as a carrier under contract for the safe carriage of passengers or passengers´ baggage and belongings. The Operator reserves the right to remove a client from a tour and provide a full refund for unused services.
Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to the services provided by the Operator shall be settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial [or other] Arbitration Rules [including the Optional Rules for Emergency Measures of Protection], and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court
having jurisdiction thereof. Any arbitration hereunder shall be conducted in Houston, Texas, or such other location as is mutually agreeable to the parties, and any arbitration award shall be final and binding on the parties. The arbitrator(s) shall have no authority to depart from, modify, or add to any provision hereof, nor in any event to award punitive damages to any party. The arbitration provisions of this paragraph shall be interpreted according to, and governed by, the Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. § 1 et seq., and any action pursuant to such Act to enforce any rights hereunder shall be brought exclusively in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division.
